Web'Stat helps you master the advanced data-analysis methods: structural equations, typologies, factor analyses, etc.... We make it easier to access innovative and differentiationg methods, which profit from the complementarities of qualitative and quantitative approaches while respecting academic standards.

Methods for predicting and explaining:

  • Multiple linear regression: stepwise method
  • PLS regression: explaining variables in the form of a linear combination of PLS components, created from independent variables.
  • Logistic regression: predicting a binary variable (yes/no; 0/1) from a set of numerical explanatory variables.

The method for modeling structural equations

Building and validating full models, including a series of latent and/or manifest variables, through path modeling.

Ascending hierarchical classification

This method allows you to group like observations into homogenous classes and to create typologies. The number of classes may be set previously or defined automatically. The procedure then consists in associating the two closest observations at each step. Such groupings may be viewed with a dendogram.

Methods for summarising

Principal-components factor analysis: to obtain a data summary through the extraction of “principal components” or “super variables” and the representation of observations and variables in the new plan. The Varimax rotation is available to maximise the variance of variable coordinates.
